Each round starts with every player picking a partner to play with. Players sit back-to-back and are each given a pen and paper. The round begins with the reader reading out the three questions on the card. After each question players write down the first thing that comes into their head. At the end of the round players now check how many of their answers are matching and points are awarded. The players with the most points after everyone has played each other go through to the final round where they must match the answers on the card in order to find the winner and ultimate mind reader.
